My little niece is coming to stay and the sharp tips of the plants are at eye level and I wan to avoid any accidents. Will snipping the sharp tips off ham the plant?

What do you do with a yucca root?

I used a yucca root to make a centerpiece for a banquet table at church yesterday and got to thinking…(I know, hard to believe…), How do you eat a yucca root? Do you boil it, fry it, sautee it? I have never seen anyone eat one. I did lick it while it was raw, really yuck (hence the “yucca”?)!

How much should I water my yucca plants and bulb ferns?

Do they just need an occasional water? Should the soil be wet?

How do I kill my multiplying Yucca plants?

I have tried to dig them up, but the roots go too far and any little splinter of root creates new chutes.
