Canon 400d…Is the ‘Landscape’ mode better than the ‘auto’ mode for taking pics of landscapes, sky & scenery?
Hi Camera people..
I have recently bought the Canon 400d and I am slowing getting to grips with things!..
What I would like to know is this..Will Landscape always be better than Auto for landscapes, skies, and scenery shots?..What is the difference with the two modes when taking these kind of shots or are they virtually the same?
Also, what are the best settings to have when taking shots at outdoor festivals when it’s dark but their is good stage lighting?..
Thanks..much appreciated

Since all photos end up being the result of a subjective decision, only you can decide.
Do some tests using both modes and then look at the images on your computers monitor and look for details that are better on one when compared to the other. Then you will know.
