what is a good name for a photography business?

my sister and i are thinking about setting up a small local business as photographers. our target market is mainly mothers. photographing babies and their mothers and also some local landscape prints for tourists etc. but we need to think of a name that would suit the business. nothing too cheesy…. more modern. any ideas?
my sister likes Flair Photography but i’m not so sure…..

Something quite classy would be something technically related to photography, like Aperture Photography or Focus Photography. How about “Scope Photography” as your business has a wide range of subjects to photograph, or “Wide Angle Photography” or Wide Shot Photography or Exposé (like exposure but frenched up to sound better lol)

Should I take my puppy to work? 10 pts.?

I just bought a shih-tzu puppy and I hate leaving her at home. She is only 10 wks old and is extremely attatched to me. I work as a secretary at a nursery/landscaping company that gets only two or three customers in a day (I pretty much just watch over the office and do paperwork) My boss brought his rottweiler in when he was a puppy. Should I ask him if I could bring her to work with me? Thanks much!
I forgot to mention that I’m the only one in the office so she wouldn’t bother anyone.

I brought both my puppies to work with me! It is a great way to make sure they don’t pee on your carpet at home. But they will pee on the carpet at your work so make sure you can take it outside a lot.

Make sure to bring a little bed, some toys and even her food to work! Make her comfortable enough to sleep! Most likely, she will sleep most of the time and I’m sure most of the customers would love to see an adorable puppy!

Best species of Tortoise?

We live in Southern california, in the hot dry foothills. We have a half acre of already landscaped/fenced yard (1.5 acres total), two dachshunds and little kids. Specifically, what are the friendliest types of tortoise, and what types would thrive best here. We have mulberry trees, grape vines, dandilion, rosemary, roses, sugarcane, acacia tree, floss silk tree, Avocado, palms, fescue etc in the yard, and would like to feed fresh, local foods, what can they eat from our yard? What else can I plant/feed that grows in my area? What is the best housing, and any other general tips.

there in California is a tortoise rescue organization called the House of Tortuga ( I cant remember what city) they have all kinds of tortoises and turtles and they breed them, they also rescue the native Desert Tortoise and adopt them out, you might want to try to contact them and see about adopting some of our native tortoises, your facilities sound perfect
(we found out about them from a show on the animal planet specifically about the House of Tortuga, we called about adopting
but we live too far away)

In 1891, O. M. Carter purchased 1,756 acres 2.5 miles from downtown Houston to develop one of the largest planned communities in America. Located 23 feet higher than the surrounding area, the new neighborhood was named Houston Heights. Carter also purchased the City of Houston''s mule-drawn streetcar system and then electrified it to provide reliable transportation to downtown. By 1896, Houston Heights was an incorporated village with its own elected mayor and aldermen. From across America, buyers came, eager to build their homes in what Carter called a model community. Vintage photographs chronicle this charming suburb''s development and the residents who have left their imprint. Time has brought change and new challenges to Houston Heights, but the community retains its small-town, friendly atmosphere and strives to maintain its historical identity.
