In two weeks time, Gabby says I’ll hear from him and that ends our conversation.
I waited two weeks and while in the midst of a new anthropology development one day, the doorbell rang. He liked my choice of colors and the fact that I bravely combined terra cotta with ocean blue. He told me not everybody can get away with this.
Gabby proceeded to look around the house, inspected the area in which I plan to have the extra room built, and on the small pad in his hand jotted numeric figures which he combined in equations I don’t even remember taking up in my Math class.
Majority of Gabby’s previous projects are mansions on sprawling lands which were featured on TV’s lifestyle programs and high society magazines. So now, as I sit and watch in awe as his team works on my house, I can’t help but picture my simple, yet fabulous home on The Lifestyle Channel.
