Hi there. Whether hoodia is safe or not is something that hasn’t really been addressed in the scientific community due to the lack of scientific data available for it. However, what is known is that African bushmen for many generations have evidently been able to survive fine while taking hoodia in moderation (the story is they used hoodia on long hunting trips when it was necessary to go without food for long periods of time). Personally, I believe hoodia is safe if used in moderation and for a short period of time, but that’s my un-scientific opinion. Good Luck ~ Andrew P.
